Comments:
Snapdragons were noted by the ancient Greeks as Antirrhinon, nose-like. The French called them gueule de loup or wolf’s mouth. In German and Italian, antirrhinum means lion’s mouth. Set out plants in early fall in mild winter areas and spring in colder climates. Deadhead to prolong bloom. Great for cut flowers but are susceptible to rust and mildew diseases.
