State Parks Plans Night Sky Educational Program

Morro Bay, CA: On Monday, February 19, 2007 at 6:00 p.m., California State Parks presents "Opposition with the planet Saturn". This exciting educational program will allow participants to learn about the planet Saturn by viewing it in the night sky.

Place: State Park Marina parking lot Directions: Drive into Marina parking lot across from Morro Bay State Park campground. Turn left (east) and park near end of lot. If walking from campground, walk across road from restored stone restroom building. We will set up in the circular parking area at the end of the Marina lot (the opposite end from the Bayside Cafe).
Weather: Rain or overcast will cancel this event. If there is only partial cloud cover, we will still be there. Please bring a flashlight with a red lens. If you don't have one, we will bring red tissue paper. Red light protects your night vision. Dress warmly.
