Discover Your World and the
“Forces of Nature”
San Luis Obispo County, CA: The National Geographic Theater at Hearst Castle® and the Central Coast Natural History Association announce a unique educational opportunity for spring 2005. Each paid admission to the movie, “Forces of Nature”, comes with a complimentary adult admission to the Morro Bay State Park, Museum of Natural History, valid through July 2005.
The Giant-Screen Film from National Geographic, “Forces of Nature”, showcases the awesome spectacle of earthquakes, volcanoes and severe storms in larger-than-life images and sounds. Follow scientists to the very brink of erupting volcanoes, along massive fault lines, aboard vehicles barreling toward tornadic storms and come face-to-face with Earth’s most destructive forces. Set on a cliff overlooking the bay with a picturesque view of the Morro Bay Estuary is the one-of-a-kind Morro Bay State Park, Museum of Natural History. Learn how the Forces of Nature are constantly shaping our world through atmospheric, geologic, and oceanic exhibits featured in 26 interactive museum exhibits for all ages. Created to support our local state parks, the Central Coast Natural History Association (CCHNA) is a non-profit organization which provides funding for education and interpretive programs with The California State Parks. The Morro Bay State Park, Museum of Natural History is the showpiece of their work located at 20 State Park Road in Morro Bay, California.
